i wonder will i ever place my parents in Old Folks Home or will i ever be placed down there...???

Elderly used to say that, if we were to place our parents in the Old Folks Home, one day we shall also be there...cos what goes around comes around....but have you ever wondered how many of those old folks actually never placed any of their parents there before??and y are their children doing this to them??what about those without kids??dont they have nephew or nieces to take care of them??even my single mothered aunt took care of both my granny n my granny sis with only basic family income of $900 and there are about 6 people living in that 3 room hdb flat..amazing wasnt it...what about those old folks in the homes??their children might be earning thousands of dollars but they are still in the homes...y??y this happens?

From my point of view, after all this years they have suffered enough in bringing you up they have to borrow money to let us have a gd education, they have give up their share of food to make sure that their children have enuff food to eat, they have been going through fights between alive and dead during your labour...they have been covering your mistakes though what you did is actually super duper wrong, they even showed off to ther frens and relatives that you are the worlds best children they ever had...is this the correct way of repaying all the good deeds that they eva give??

Everychild has only one pair of parents...and parents may have many children..they never expect anything more than you showered them with love...take good care of them when they are unable to take good care of themselves..they just wants you to treat them as how they used to treat you when you were young..they are never a burden..cos they have never ask for your money..think it through..how on earth do they get the cash to buy the groceries paid the utilities bills paid the house rental...they actually saved up from their younger days..they even find a job that is not suitable for thier age like cleaning up hawker centres..when its so sliperry and you can see them shivering when they carry heavy items...they dun depend on their children money.

Guess how lonely they are and im pretty sure they are very heartbroken..Bear in mind that if we shattered a parent heart and caused them to cry and cursed and swear at you, ALlah will place you in hell....

I make a visit to one of the homes..and you know these people they tell me that their children working with good position and they placed their parents in the homes caused they felt ashame of their parents and they think their parents were actually a burden. Relate back, why dont they placed you in the childrens homes when you were young when they have not enuff money to grow you up...why do they bother to bring you up when they can actually placed you by the road side and hoping that sum1 will pick you up....

After all these sacrifices they made, its time for us to show some gratitude towards them. They are not a burden..they never bring any shame on you...THEY ARE ACTUALLY THE REASONS WHY YOU ARE HERE IN THIS WORLD AND DEVELOPE YOU TO WHO YOU ARE RITE NOW....

before its too late and regretted the rest of our life...why not all of us treassure our parents, love them, hug them, tell them how important are they to our daily lifes...If you are thinking of placing your parents in the homes think twice...look back...at your youger days...
