.: Family Affair :.

I've just had endless family affair outings for the past few weeks. From Chalet to Punggol Sleep over to Dinner.

The chalet was to celebrate abg ilia and wife birthday. I had gained alot of weight. Just imagine me sitting down on the floor surrounded by cakes, kuih, briyani, satay, grilled chicken, grilled fish....my oh my...of course being a satay lover, I've ate more than 15 satay...

Orang bakar aku kebas...

hehe...

So I slept over Mimi's place cause Mak's had kenduri for Arwah Loloq (A cousin of mine who passed away during his Ns this year).

Food was even better. SATAY, briyani, black pepper beef, sweet and sour fish, acar, ayam masak merah...and again i can't resist SATAY...

Finally, on 30th Aug (Saturday)

We (my aunts, sis and cousins. My parents were overseas so they never tag along.) went to search for my kain raya. Yah last minute...can anyone recommend me a tailor please. So this year its like unplanned. Why? Because I'll be sitting for my exams during the 3rd week of raya... Exams come first then visiting.

Then went over to Abg Bob's cafe @ Simpang Bedok. The food was delicious. Especially Paprik's and kaya. So abg bob was like so free that he was able to chat with us..took some photos.i love the atmosphere...

My dearest Boyfriend wanted to get me another ready made baju kurung. But me, I just don't like ready made baju kurung because the sleeve will surely be short and the length of the baju too...sigh.

So next week me and boyfriend might look into the idea of searching for another kain for raya cum inoi's wedding. He gave me his budget like not more than $60 per metre cause all together I will be using 4.5m for a normal baju kurung and 2.5 metre for the lace or organza...
